Cremation services
If you need us now, call (416) 489-8000.
We answer 24 hours a day, every day of the year. There is no rush and no obligation — we can talk through what happens next before you decide anything.
We are close, and we say where we are
Our office is at 41 Industrial Street, Unit 102, in East York. We are not a call centre and we are not a listing for an office somewhere else,, that is a real address inside the City of Toronto, and you are welcome to come and sit down with us.
From East York, every part of Scarborough falls comfortably inside our service area. Agincourt, Malvern, Woburn, Bendale, Guildwood, West Hill, Highland Creek, Birch Cliff, Cliffside, Dorset Park, Wexford, Milliken, Rouge, Port Union and Scarborough Village are all covered at no extra charge. Some low-cost providers serving Scarborough operate from well north of the city and quote long transfers. We do not need to.
We regularly attend all three Scarborough Health Network hospitals — General on Lawrence Avenue East, Birchmount on Birchmount Road, and Centenary on Ellesmere Road — as well as long-term care homes, retirement residences and private homes across the district. If your loved one has died in hospital, the nursing staff will hold them in the hospital's care until we arrive, and there is no need for you to wait there.

Questions Scarborough Families Ask Us
How quickly can you come?
We are usually with you within a couple of hours anywhere in Scarborough, and often sooner. If your loved one is at home, we will talk you through what to expect before we arrive. If they are in hospital or a care home, there is no urgency at all — they will be cared for until we come, and you do not need to be present.
Do I have to come to East York?
Not to make the arrangements. Most families complete everything online with us guiding them, and we handle the paperwork. You will need to come to our office once, to collect your loved one's remains. If you would rather sit down with someone in person from the start, you are very welcome to.
Is there a charge for coming to Scarborough?
No. All of Scarborough is within the 30 kilometres included in our prices, at any hour. Transfers beyond 30 kilometres carry a fee, and we will tell you the amount before you commit to anything.
How long until we have the ashes?
Usually within five business days of your loved one coming into our care. The main variable is how quickly the medical certificate and registrations are completed, which depends on the doctor or coroner rather than on us. We will call you as soon as your loved one is ready.
What paperwork do we need?
A Medical Certificate of Death completed by the doctor, nurse practitioner or coroner. From there we complete the Statement of Death, register the death with the City of Toronto, and provide you with unlimited certified proof of death certificates during the first year. If you need a Death Certificate from ServiceOntario for estate matters, we will explain how to order one. You do not have to work any of this out yourself.
Is this price really the price?
It is a starting price, and we will tell you plainly if anything in your circumstances would change it,, a transfer beyond 30 kilometres, or an urn if you choose one. What we will not do is quote you a low figure and add things afterwards.
Cultural And Relisious Observances
Scarborough is one of the most diverse parts of Canada, and for a great many families here cremation is not a cost decision but a religious one. We serve Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, Christian, Chinese and Caribbean families across Scarborough, and we are used to working around the requirements that matter — timing, the presence of family, prayers or rites before the cremation, and the handling of the remains afterwards.
If your family observes practices we should know about, tell us when you call. We would rather ask than assume, and we will say plainly what we can and cannot accommodate rather than agreeing to something and disappointing you later.
