It is with deep sorrow and sadness, that the family announces the sudden and unexpected passing of Gary Carlton Webb on Thursday October 20, 2022 at the age of 61. He passed in his apartment in Toronto.
Gary was born in downtown Toronto on August 5, 1961 and grew up and lived all his life in the Yonge and Eglinton area of Toronto. He graduated from the University of Toronto with a Specialist Degree in Commerce and Finance and worked in the hospitality industry as a food and beverage manager most of his life. He enjoyed cooking and entertaining his friends. His artistic talent was apparent in his imaginative decorating skills.
He was the loving son of the late Carl Webb and Jessie Webb and is survived by his only sister Bonnie Greenoe of Fort Myers, Florida. He will be dearly missed by Bonnie, Lisa Feavyear a lifelong friend of Toronto and other longtime friends.
Cremation has taken place and Gary’s remains will be laid to rest with Grandfather, Albert Webb and Nana, Inez Webb at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto on January 12, 2023. There will not be a funeral service and currently no celebration of life is planned.
In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
