Sheila Rose Sills

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sheila Rose Sills, who left us peacefully on January 24, 2025, just shy of her 87th birthday.

Born in London, UK, Sheila was the beloved daughter of Lily and Alfred Sills, and cherished sister to Joan, Alan, and Colin. She began her working life in London, contributing her talents to a number of international firms before making a life-changing decision in the early 1960s to emigrate to Canada.

There, she built a full and independent life, first settling in Montreal and eventually making her home in Toronto. Among her roles in Canada, she worked for IBM and Fridens Inc.

Though Sheila lived much of her life abroad, she remained a treasured part of her family's hearts in the UK. Her quiet strength and enduring spirit are fondly remembered by those who knew and loved her.

Sheila will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.
