On October 9, 2024, Ron peacefully passed away with family at his side, at Sunnybrook Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, after a relatively brief battle with terminal cancer.
He is lovingly remembered by his partner Lynda Hessey, his daughter Stephanie Borland, his Son-in-Law Charles Gamm, and his Grand-daughter Nicole Gamm, of Victoria, British Columbia.
Donations is his memory can be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society.
