Robert was a bon vivant — a man who enjoyed the finer things in life as a lover of good food, a connoisseur of wine, an enthusiast of loud music, and a cycling aficionado.

 Most of all he loved his family — his grandson Mac was the light of his life. He adored his beautiful daughters Madison and Taylor and celebrated their many successes. Daily conversations with his older brother George were cherished.

He had many lifelong friends who shared his many interests. 

As a professional photographer, Robert took beautiful and evocative images. He was a creative and an artist. 

He loved his five spirited, delightfully unkempt bearded collies — MacDuff, Maggie, Biscuit, Angus and Sammy.

Robert also enjoyed fly fishing, playing tennis, watching sports, reading a good book, and debating current events.

Robert will be missed by family and friends. He was a true original. We will hold a celebration of life in early summer and raise a glass of (good) wine in his memory.
