Paul Michael Roger Smith

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Michael Roger Smith, who was born on July 13, 1933, in Toronto, and departed this life on October 7, 2025, in Toronto. Paul’s remarkable journey spanned 92 years, during which he touched countless lives with his warmth, wisdom, and generosity.

Paul is lovingly remembered by his devoted partner, Margaret Kittel, whose companionship brought him joy and strength. He was the proud parent of Sheri Dell (Barry), Kevin, Danny (predeceased), Matthew (Silia), Shawn (Laure), and Serena Pimentel (Johnny). Paul’s legacy continues through his treasured grandchildren: Christine, Johnathan, Adrian, James, Basil (Cooper), Maeve, Elliot, Stella, Scarlett, and Sasha. He also embraced his stepsons, Eric (Nichola Palmer) and Marc Canale (Marta), and their children Coco, Sasha, Alexan, Arlo, and Aria, whose presence enriched his life.

Born and raised in the heart of Toronto, Paul exemplified the true spirit of kindness and resilience. Whether sharing stories at family gatherings or offering support during difficult times, Paul embodied the values that made him so beloved. Paul will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones, and his legacy will continue to shine through the lives he touched.
