Norma Olive Lillian Willis

June 1927-February 2017

Norma passed away peacefully at Toronto Western Hospital.

The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses for the wonderful

compassionate care given to Norma.

Norma was born to Arland Willis and Elsie May Pogue Willis in Toronto and had three sisters.

The family fell apart due to illness when Norma was about 5 years old.

The next 3 years of her life were very traumatic, but at the age of 8 was accepted into the happy

home of Christine Muir, a kind, wise, compassionate woman who gave Norma a lovely stable home to grow up in.

The first job Norma had was at an aircraft plant in Mississauga and had the position of Rosie the Riviera riveting the aircraft together.

The war ended and Norma moved to Sudbury, Ont. and worked for Ontario Hydro in accounts payable.

While in Sudbury, she married Clarence Naismith and had a son Ford.

Alas the marriage ended after about 10 years and eventually Norma moved back to Toronto where she held a variety of responsible jobs.

Norma had a good sense of humor, was a creative seamstress and had a flare for design.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Susan Naismith; grandson Travis Naismith , his wife Crystal and their daughter Whitney; granddaughter Amanda

Quehe ,her husband Matt and their daughters Ella and Amelia. All reside in New Liskeard, Ont. Also left to mourn is her sister Millie from Duncan B.C. who, although

unable to attend the celebration of life is here in spirit.

Norma will be missed, but is resting safely and peacefully in the arms of Jesus.
