Jules Jardine

September 5, 1932 — June 10, 2024

Whitby, ON

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father Jules Jardine SR at the age of 91.

He passed peacefully in Ajax Pickering Hospital on June 10th, 2024.

Jules was a loving husband to Renee for 62 years, brother to Mavis and Hilary (both passed), father to Rhonda, Jules JR (Lisa), Tracy (Passed in 2019) and Shellyann. He was Grandfather (Papa) to Brandon (Janelle), Zachary, Dante, Jade Marie, Dallas, Jules JR III, Sofia and Shay. He was Great Grandfather to Ariana, Jayce, Berkely and Keaton. Dad loved being around and raising his grandkids. He had an incredible bond with them and spoiled them with all sorts of gifts any chance he got. Jules was raised with many cousins who he thought of as brothers and sisters. He has always cherished his childhood memories of them.

Jules dedicated his life to his family and was passionate about everything he did. He had a great sense of humor, his laughter contagious and had a larger than life personality. He was a great storyteller and would talk for hours about memories from his days growing up with his beloved parents Joseph and Ursula.

Jules was a sports fanatic that followed all sports, especially hockey, football and boxing. Born in Guyana, Jules was a competitive long distance cyclist in his teens through twenties. He moved his family to Toronto in 1963 and settled in Etobicoke where he lived most of his life. He loved celebrating Christmas with family and friends and always tried to have the brightest house on the street. His friendship circles were wide and varying.

Dad your spirit will live forever in us. You have been the light in our lives and hearts. Your strength and kindness will be remembered and will live on in us.

Rest in Peace Papa. You will be greatly missed and loved dearly by many.
