John (Jack) Le Clair

John “Jack” Le Clair passed away peacefully on September 20, 2026, at the age of 89 (DOB: Nov 22, 1936).

Born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Jack earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Prince Edward Island, before moving to Toronto after graduation. There, he built a life, a family with June Le Clair, and a successful business that he owned and operated for decades.

After retiring, Jack happily traded the working world for the golf course, where he spent countless hours enjoying one of his great passions. He was also a lifelong baseball fan and a devoted lover of cats.

But those who knew Jack will remember him just as much for his personality. He had a wonderfully weird sense of humor, a quick wit, and a way of making people laugh that will be deeply missed.

Above all, Jack loved his family. He will be profoundly missed by his sons, Jonathan and Jason; his sister Joan: his daughter-in-law, Amara; and his cherished granddaughter, Salma, who held a very special place in his heart.

Jack lived a long and full life, leaving behind many stories, plenty of laughs, and memories that his family and friends will carry with them.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, and his ashes will be returned to Prince Edward Island.
