It is with great sadness the family of Joel Swerdlow announces his passing. Joel Swerdlow passed away on April 27th, 2019 in Burlington, Ontario. Joel is survived by his two grandchildren Aurora and Artan, children Elly and Andrew and their mother Gail.
Joel studied Electronics Technology at George Brown College and was a pioneer in telecommunications technology. He worked most of his career in the video conferencing industry. Throughout his life Joel was an avid photographer and loved to take photographs of nature, especially that of the local scenery in his hometown. You can find some of his work at

A celebration of life will take place at Hugh Foster Hall on Monday May 6th, 2019 from 1pm-4pm (141 King Street, Milton Ontario L9T1J9)
