We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Jeremy. After a courageous battle with cancer, Jeremy passed away at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre on June 13th, surrounded by loved ones. He was 46.
Jeremy lived a private life and loved working and the outdoors. He was introduced to the world of HVAC at a young age and built a successful business, serving the GTA for over 20 years. When he wasn’t working, he was at the cottage, cruising the lake by boat or jet ski or exploring the woods on the ATV. His favourite times were spent doing this with his kids.
Jeremy was known for his infectious laugh and found humour in the most random things. You couldn’t help but be in a better mood when you heard him laugh. He will be missed by many, including his wife of 11 years, Robynne and their children, Noah and Lily, his mother Leslie Oppenheimer Cowen (Jacques) and father Robert Cowen (Judy), his sisters Leah (Troy) and Deborah (Alissa), in-laws Alan and Diane McKinlay, sister-in-law Rachael (Ben), his nieces and nephews Audrey, Miles, Rhyden and Finlay as well as many friends, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a small gathering to remember Jeremy later in the summer.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre where he received amazing care by such a wonderful team of doctors and nurses.
