It is with great sadness the family of Ian Insley of Toronto Ontario announce the passing of Ian, on the 27th of May 2021 at his home in Toronto. Ian was born in Montreal and moved to New Brunswick at the age of three, growing in and attending school in both Saint John and Fredericton. Ian graduated from Saint John High School and NBCC Saint John Campus.
Ian enjoyed sports such as Judo, had a lifelong love of music and was passionate about his guitar playing. The majority of Ian’s work life was spent in the call center industry.
Ian’s son Gabriel was hoping to grow old with his father and spend many happy hours in his company.
Ian is survived by his father, Gavin Insley, stepmother, Catherine Insley, son, Gabriel Insley, his brother Peter Insley, sister-in-law Anna Insley, Stepbrother Johnathan Nantel, sister-in-law Amy Nantel, Nephews and niece, Liam, Oliver, Jean-Luc and Andromeda.
Ian is predeceased by his mother Jerilyn Williams. He was much loved by a large family of grandparents, uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation at this time, it is proposed that a private family graveside service will be held at a future date in New Brunswick.
