It is with deep sadness and much love that we announce the peaceful passing of Agnes “Aggie” Catherine Parteno on May 22, 2026, surrounded by her family and friends.
Aggie will be forever loved and deeply missed by her devoted husband, Roy; her three children, Jessie (Luis), Mike (Jackie), and Molly (Nick); and her five cherished grandchildren, Charlie, Jack, Emma, Ryan, and Nathan, who brought her endless joy and pride.
She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings, Mike (Nora), Joe (Jane), Maryanne (Monty), and John (Andrea), She was predeceased by brother George and wife Barbara. She will be dearly missed by many extended family members and friends.
Aggie was known for her kind, loyal, and loving nature. She had a remarkable gift for caring for others and dedicated her career as a labour and delivery nurse, helping bring hundreds of babies into the world. Nursing was more than a profession to Aggie—it was a calling she embraced with compassion, warmth, and skill. The care she gave and the lives she touched left a lasting impact on so many families.
Above all, Aggie’s greatest joy was her family. She created a home filled with love, comfort, and unwavering support, and her gentle presence will be missed beyond words. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched and in the family she loved so deeply.
The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time. A celebration of life will be set for early August, you may reach out to the family for details.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Aggie’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
Forever loved, always remembered, and deeply missed.
