Vicky was someone who was unapologetically herself every day. She stood firmly in her values. Though rough around the edges at times, there was a truly loving and beautiful kindness that shined in all her actions and teachings. Vicky is deeply missed and will continued to be missed. She left a meaningful impact on passing colleagues, I can’t imagine the love and joy she had for those who were closest to her. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

Vickie, Was a colleague of mine, Toronto General operating room. We became instant friends. When I relocated to Kitchener we remained in contact when she was visiting relatives in the Cambridge area. Several years later I required a heart transplant and lived in the coronary ICU for 10 weeks. Vickie would spend her lunch at my bedside each day she worked. She was very kind and finding a shower for my parents to use at time of transplant. She was a very generous soul and I’m sure she will be missed by many people that she left her mark on. She had a love of life and cherished her friendships. I just heard today while at Toronto General for an appointment, that she had passed. I will remember her fondly.
