Malcolm Fraser Johnston

Malcolm Fraser Johnston (b. Dec 2, 1946) passed away in the early hours of Friday, October 14, 2022 after a long struggle with cancer.
Nothing meant more to Malcolm than his family. He was calm, unassuming, kind, and witty with a wonderful (and occasionally wicked) sense of humour. Malcolm kept things upbeat and made the best of things even in the worst moments. He was an astute judge of character without being judgmental.
He is survived by his wife, Leonore, sons Gregory (Tina), Tristan, and Daniel (Simona), his sister, Denise Nott-Bower, his grandchildren, Brandon and Silas and his niece and nephews. His wit, sincerity and generosity will be missed by his family and friends.
There will be a reception in celebration of Malcolm’s life at the Royal Canadian Legion branch #266/46 (3591 Dundas St. West, Toronto) on November 20th at 1:30pm – 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Canadian Cancer Society, Prostate Cancer Research in Malcolm’s memory.

Although I only met Malcolm a few times what I recall most is his smile. Leonore may your lifetime of memories and shared laughter and joy be there to bring you comfort when you and your family need it most.

Malcolm and Lee made me feel part of their family from the first day we meet.
Thank you both for your kindness and friendship.
