Born September 10, 1963
Died July 15, 2022
Ken was born in Toronto Ontario to David and Lois Rockson (Lois nee Martin)
Ken was resident at Chartwell Long Term Care in Scarborough at the time of his passing.
Ken’s preferred residence was in Rockwood, Ontario
Ken had no ties to organized religion
Ken is loving and fondly remembered by his Brother Chris, his Niece Nicole, his Uncle Bob Martin , other family members and his many friends.
Ken ran a thriving computer programming business under the name of Think Tank, before he had a series of illnesses, hospitalizations and operations . In his lifetime Ken founded other computer businesses under the names of The Animation Shop and Locomotion. He also worked as a computer consultant in Canada and the United States.
Ken had the gift of being able to face great adversity in life and still see a positive side. He was an inspiration.
Ken was a complicated and intellectual guy. Truly a one off original
He had a deep desire to dig into and fully understand what he was digging into.
He had a methodical computer brain. Which served him well as a computer programmer. A skill which he maintained most of his adult life.
Ken had an amazing sense of humour.
Over the past few years it’s been surprising and heartwarming to have enjoyed his company, to hear him being more open minded.
Even with the hand dealt to him he had a spectacular positive attitude towards life.
I remember all the Lan parties we used to have under the ‘Tank’, and playing Minecraft with Ken while he was in hospital. 😔
Sorry for your loss.
