Gabriel Szőcs
We are heartbroken to announce the death of our father, Gabriel Szőcs, who sadly passed away on the 18th of August, 2023. Cherished father of Aniko and Aron; lifelong friend and laughing companion of his brother Leslie; proud grandfather and worthy chess rival of Escher, Charlotte, and Christian; and former husband, travel buddy, and graceful ball-dancing partner of Klara.
He is also survived by his son-in-law Stephen D’Amico, daughter-in-law Heather Szocs, and his extensive collection of short-wave radios, which one ear was permanently attached to, to stay connected to his beloved homeland Hungary.
Private family services will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Wednesday, August 23.

I certainly have lost a loving father and friend! I will miss him very much. He was always as kind as a father to me! He was an example of an honest and loving friend. A true angel having a human experience! I can proudly announce that Gabriel was the best person I had the honor to meet and stay friends with in my lifetime! ❤️
