Edit Virag
January 22, 1959 – October 28, 2021
It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Edit Virag on October 28, 2021 at the age of 62, after a tough battle with brain cancer. She leaves behind her loving husband, Jozsef of 36 years, their daughter Andrea and her brother Denes, along with extended family in Erdély.
Edit lived life fully with incredible resilience and determination; had a passion for dancing and travelling, and enjoyed being with friends. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity to others, as a hard worker and respected colleague, as a devoted wife and mother, and those impossibly green eyes.
As per her wishes, her remains will be laid to rest in her hometown, deep in the heart of Transylvania.

She will be missed dearly but will live in our hearts forever. May you be comforted by sweet memories of her, you and Joska are in our thoughts and prayers. Please accept our deepest condolences.

My deepest condolences to the family. Edit was very sweet and caring. She always smiled and always had something warm to say. She never complained and she never said anything bad about anyone. I had the honor of working with my sweet Edit, everytime she saw me it was a hug time. May she rest in peace 🙏. A beautiful soul that joined God in the gardens of Heaven.
Her beautiful smile and beautiful eyes will shine bright down on everyone she loved and cared for. Her big heart will live forever in all of us the Loved her like our own mom. MISS YOU….Until we meet again.

Our hearts are saddened by your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Words may not suffice to express the heartfelt sorrow that we feel for the passing of your mother and wife.
Edit gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
Edit and Miklós Lukács
I remember when the three of us first met at Flemingdon Plaza: Erika, you: Editke and me. It was like yesterday. If I close my eyes, I can still hear your giggly laughter and see the smile on your face. We moved back to Hungary couple of years later but always followed how your family was doing. Just recently we have heard of your struggle with this terrible and cruel disease. Life is not fair, unfortunately we know that. At such a young age, you already know what is on the other side of the rainbow. You will continue to live in our hearts.
We wish your family a lot of strength in processing your loss. We express our sincere condolences to Józsi and Andrea.

Editke, emlékszem, amikor hárman először találkoztunk a Flemingdon Plazában: Erika, Te és én. Olyan most, mintha csak tegnap lett volna.
Továbbra is a szívünkben fogsz élni.
Sok erőt kívánunk a családnak a hatalmas veszteség feldolgozásához. Őszinte részvétünket szeretnénk kifejezni Józsinak és Andreának.

My deepest condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of working with Edit for the last 14 years. She was just not a co worker we became friends. When she would come to my office every morning she would tell me a story. Always made me smile We were so close that she would understand what I wanted without me saying anything to her.
She was a very caring, giving thoughtful person.
She will be missed dearly but never forgotten. I have a beautiful angel watching over me.
May she Rest In Peace🙏🙏

Fajdalmatokban maradéktalanul osztozunk, s Edit emlékét megőrizzük szívűnkben amíg a mienk is dobog!
We feel the deepest sorrow for your loss, that is also our loss!
As we say goodbye to our best friend Edit, we like to remind you that the World was a better place, while she was in it. She will always be in our memories and in our hearts as long as we live!

Whenever I was in the store, I always waited to go to Edit’s line. We always laughed and told each other funny stories. I was so sorry to hear of her passing. My condolences to her family- she always talked about her daughter with pride and love.
