David Blair Cormier

July 30, 1980 – October 24, 2022
On October 24th, 2022, we lost our beloved Dave at the young age of 42. The sudden loss of a loved one, especially one as wonderful as our Dave, is a shock and a great tragedy for his family and friends. Dave was a kind, loving, hardworking father, husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He was a rock for his wife and children and his treasured family. Dave was full of life and cherished family above all else. He has loved and been deeply loved by his wife Theresa and sons Wesley and Colton. Dave is irreplaceable and sadly missed by all his extended family and friends.
Dave enjoyed the many simple things in life.
He was a talented and passionate cook, and took the greatest pride in his work. His fun-loving and competitive nature made family get togethers a highlight of the year. He was a staple of his many different games and leisure communities, including his bowling leagues. He loved to travel and explore but was also never happier than when he was camping and relaxing with his favourite people.
Dave not only had an incredibly large extended family, but he was outgoing and loyal and also gathered a large chosen family and circle of friends. He touched many lives and will be remembered by many always and forever.

Sending love and support to Dave’s family during this challenging time. He was so lucky to have so many people love and care about him. He’s made an impact on those around him and will be fondly remembered. Hoping you are back in your furry, bass blasting car, as you watch over your family! ❤️

I didn’t know Dave for long, but in the limited time that I did, he showed me nothing but how kind, selfless, generous and amazing he was. I will always remember him everytime I get a French Vanilla at TimHortons. He always got me one almost every morning before work. I knew if I needed help from him, he would always jump up to be there. He has physically left us, but the memories he left behind will always be with us!

Oh sweet Theresa, my heart aches for you the boys. Indeed you’ve been robbed. Dave was far to young to be taken from this world. It’s so unbelievably cruel. Sending you big hugs as you prepare to say your final goodbyes ❤️🙏🥰😢

Dave was a great guy. He was a good friend and always willing to lend a helping hand – even on short notice.
He absolutely loved and adored Theresa and his boys. He talked so highly of you, and loved you so much.

Theresa, Wes and Colton,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I remember growing up and every time I saw Cory, Dave wasn’t far behind. They were joined at the hip and quite a funny pair. As time went on, we all got busy and didn’t see one another much. I remember Dave being a joker- the life of the party. I remember how quick he was with his responses (even the sarcastic ones). I can also recall that when we saw Dave, Theresa wasn’t far behind either. A package deal. You’ve had a loving relationship for all of these years, raising two wonderful boys along the way. Always remember the love you had for one another. His life wasn’t nearly as long as it should have been, but it was full of love because of you, Theresa! Take comfort in all of the memories you have made and know that he will continue to be by your side every day. Sending love and strength. Xo
