David Andrew Dugal

October 1, 1987 -April 15, 2023
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of David at age 35. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Denise and Stephen, brother Paul (Amanda), sister Ellie Lenarduzzi (Marc), Nieces and Nephew, Aunts and Uncles, Cousins and Friends, and many other Dear Relatives. Greatly missed by his faithful companion, Charlie.
David suffered life altering injuries in a fire on February 7, 2023 and subsequently, cardiac arrest due to this and other underlying medical complications on April 6, 2023. David had a kind heart and stood up for the bullied and downtrodden. He enjoyed family, dirt biking, writing songs and poems, remote control devices, and tinkering with electronics.
Heartfelt thanks to the exceptional care provided by the staff at Sunnybrook Hospital, Ross Tilley Burn Centre. David is at peace now.
Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday June 3, 2023 at 10:30 am at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church – 1148 Finch Avenue, Pickering.
Reception after Mass in the Church Hall, a light lunch will be provided.

I met Dave in grade 9, and from then on we were pretty much best friends after that. We hung out together all the time. For years during and after highscool. I still remember my first dinner with your family we had chicken á la king. I was always welcomed and felt right at home when I was over. I have many great memories and funny stories I can tell about Dave so he will always be with me, Although it’s sad to say we grew apart over the years and I lost contact with Dave it still hurts my heart to know he’s not hear anymore. He will be missed greatly and I send my love to all of you.
