Andrew Robert Clark

June 8th, 1983-February 3rd, 2021
It is with our deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Andrew at age 37 on February 3rd 2021 in Toronto. Andrew was born in Mississauga to Mary-Jane Taylor and Robert Clark. Andrew was father to Matthew Swinton, brother to Rebecca Morrison (Matt), Susanne Taylor (Anthony) and David Taylor (Pia). Beloved Uncle of Cody, Sara, Ryon, Molly and Wesley. Predeceased by Step-Father Charlie Taylor. Andrew was a free-spirited loving man who wore his heart on his sleeve. He loved music, travel and was happiest among his family and friends.
As a child Andrew was a very fast runner who excelled in track and field and also aspired to be a pilot. In his later years he became a skilled welder and was well known for his participation in the music community. One thing that remained constant was his unique fondness for snakes, and snakes named Jake, of which he owned several. Andrew’s deep spirituality lead him backpacking through North and South America, Europe and Asia. He had the gift of making new friends wherever his journeys lead him. He will be forever loved and missed by many.
“There is only one happiness in this life, to love and be loved.”
No visitation or service will be held at this time. A public memorial is intended to be held at a later date.

Wishing Andrew’s family and friends hope and peace during this unimaginably difficult time. Mary-Jane, I’m remembering with you, the life of your precious son.
Andrew and I shared so much together in a short time. We hiked and ran through the trails in Hamilton, we danced hard in my living room, we made great food together, we worked in my garden, laughed a lot and encouraged each other. Andrew, I’m honoured to have been your girl. I love you. See you in the stars.

Our sympathy and condolences to all of Andrew’s family and friends at this devastating time. It has been many, many years since we last saw Andrew, but remember him coming over to our place after school on occasion when we lived in Tecumseh (we were next door neighbours to Mary Taylor.) Our daughter Kate remembers him fondly. Our thoughts are with everyone at this sad time. May his memory be a blessing.

We crossed paths earlier in life as neighbours, across from George’s Square. You were of principal and adventure. You were protective of family and people you cared about. A good person.
